Life is eternal and love is immortal; And death is only a horizon, And a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. Rossiter W. Raymond

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Donna Koser who was born in Iowa on April 24, 1950 and passed away on November 18, 2008. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Donna Koser was born April 24, 1950 in rural Little Rock, IA to Marvin and Doris (Wibben) Willemssen. She was raised and educated in George, IA. During her high school career Donna was named Homecoming Queen and Salutatorian. She went on to Nettleton Business College and received a degree in Executive secretarial with accounting. On May 29th, 1970 she was united in marriage to Ronald Koser at Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock, IA. To this union two children were born. Donna worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone in Sioux Falls and from 1970 to 1973 she worked as receptionist for Osceola City Extension Service in Sibley, IA. She was an independent Avon Sales Representative for 33 years and received numerous sales recognitions and awards. Her customers really enjoyed her perky and cheerful personality. Donna loved decorating, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She was particularly proud of her two “P’s” – her Pilot and her Psychologist. She attended the First Baptist Church in Sibley.

Donna will always be remembered as a vibrant, beautiful, cheerful, vivacious, generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Koser Carmichael and grandson, Jaden Carmichael of Clearwater FL; son, Christopher Louis Koser of Sibley, IA; parents, Marvin and Doris Willemssen of Sioux Falls, SD; sister Shirley (Max) Whittington of Casa Grande, AZ, brother, Jerry (Kathy) Willemssen of Prior Lake, MN, brother Mark (Tricia) Willemssen of Johnston, IA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and recently joined by her husband of 38 years, Ronald Craig Koser, on July 31, 2009.
